My name is Pamela — herbalist, sommelier, jewelry designer, and creative director.
I trained my palate on wine before I formally studied plants. Which sounds like an unexpected path to herbalism — until you understand that both are, at their core, about learning to read nature through sensation. The way a scent carries an entire story before a word is spoken. The way the body already knows, if you give it the language.
The plants arrived when my body called for them — through an autoimmune diagnosis, a deep hormonal and gut imbalance, and the quiet certainty that there had to be another way. What I found was something older and more patient. A way of working with the body that listens before it acts — that sees symptoms not as problems to be silenced, but as signals worth following.
I eventually formalized this path through the Wise Woman tradition of healing, and recognized it as what I had been practicing all along.
